THE PURPOSE

Honey sticking to the bottom of my shoes as I walked through the garage and bees buzzing in my ears is the memory of my adolescence I will never forget. I learned to appreciate bees thanks to my family of beekeepers. As I grew older my father had trouble keeping his hives, our record-setting end of summer honey collection had decreased throughout the years. From buckets to bottles I realized there is a major issue within the community of beekeepers due to the decline of the bee population.

 

I hope this blog offers a community, discussion, and awareness about the importance of bees.
