Snapchat has a cool feature showing you the photos you took "on this day...".
I took this photo before I had started this blog. I was appreciating 2 important people in my life (my father and my grandfather). I wanted to remember how happy I was in that moment as my grandpa proudly showed his sons, daughter, and many grandchildren the plot of land his retirement community allowed him to keep bees on.
The next semester I returned to school and started this blog as a class project.
Tomorrow, I will walk up on stage and receive an award for my blog.
I never imagined my interest in beekeeping growing so much, but I am thankful it has. I get to carry on the interests of my grandfather, while educating others on the importance of pollinators.
I want to thank each and everyone of my readers for supporting my journey.
Finally, I want to thank my family for exposing me to many things in my life, including the not-so-common hobby of beekeeping.
